TECHNICAL DETAILS
Bodycheck's bumper system consists first on the push of the rods, ten rubber stoppers at center ice. These stoppers are mounted below the ice surface within a grid system that transfers the rod travel inertia to a solid metal frame. This deck of stoppers is hinged to allow access for ease of maintenance. On the pull of the rods contact is made to a one piece stopper that is shaped to stop the travel of each independent rod at an exact point. This stopper is made removable to gain access to the Funnels and goalie control boxes as well making the change of a rod simple. It also transfers the inertia of the rod travel to the solid metal frame keeping the ice surface in pristine condition.
Bodycheck's goalie control rod is mounted centered behind the goalie on a hardened steel pin through an injection mold control box. It allows full crease access and an in and out motion to allow taking the puck off the crease or clearing the puck. The goal rod is mounted higher than the other rods allowing the center rod to come in underneath and to the right not to feel cumbersome.
