Warren is the President/Co-Founder of the Vancouver Table Hockey Association and is an Advisory Council Member for the Canadian Table Hockey Association. He was also a Co-founder & past president of the VTHL, a former CTHA VP & was the founder of Table Hockey Heaven. Warren has played competivley on Stiga, Coleco, Munro, Eagle, Benej, Gretzky, Best Of Seven, Men Of Steel, and in the near future, BodyCheck. He has won numerous VTHA and VTHL awards including twice winning the VTHL CUP. He also won the first ever Vancouver's King Of Table Hockey. BodyCheck is where it is at! Finally a high end game designed by an elite table hockey player. This game is what Chexx should have been all along, a professional tournament style game made for real table hockey enthusiasts. I feel that elite and begginer players and everybody in between will see that with the advent of Bodycheck, that table hockey is no longer just a kids game. With Bodycheck and the company's (AiSE) vision, this could very well be the game that brings table hockey to the professional level. Speaking of AiSE, I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the AiSE staff. Staff members Dan Sammartino, Darren Watt and Kim Planidin have all displayed both an enthusiasm for Bodycheck, and also a respect for table hockey that shows the AiSE team are professionals and that they are serious about their Table Hockey Vision. Lastly, being the huge table hockey enthusiast that I am, I am grateful to AiSE for bringing this high calibre game to the table hockey world. I am also grateful that with AiSE's co-operation, the Vancouver Table Hockey Association will have a Bodycheck league in the 2009-10 season. Thanks Guys! |
John has played on the Best Of Seven table hockey game for many years, winning the Saskatchewan Provincial title over eight times and placing in the top three or four in most Canadian Championships on the Best Of Seven. All I can say is WOW what a game! I have played every game that has ever been made and only the Best Of Seven game comes close to this game!. While the BOS offers fast smooth play it is out of date and no longer made. WOW does this game fill the void left by the BOS and then some! The Bodycheck game blows away all other competion! The Chexx, Stiga, Benej, Coleco, games dont come close in playability or durability. Those games seem fragile compared to the Bodycheck game yet the Bodycheck game outplays them all in every area! The game is way smoother, offers way more skilled plays and you can even bodycheck on it! You can block any pass or shot, make any play and score in a multitude of ways leaving you opponent in a state of disbelief! How did you do that!? I love the puck elevator, the realistic steel goals and the see through goalie! What great features! The gondola score clock is second to none! And you can play for hours without getting a sore back! The Bodycheck game is without doubt the best tablehockey game being made in the world today. This game is going to take off once it gets known! People in the arcade world are at this time comparing it to the Chexx game which is totally unfair to the Bodycheck game. It blows the Chexx game away. With the right promoting and advertising I can't see anyone who loves hockey not wanting to try it and then not wanting to own it!I know I will be buying one as soon as I am able! Thanks guys for building a high quality fun game. I love it! |
Tablehockey has been a part of my life since I was a college kid. As my family grew, so did our passion for the game. In the late 1980’s we "graduated" to big board tablehockey and never looked back at the classic table top games. Then in 2009 we discovered Bodycheck Tournament Hockey and just like that our world changed again. This game is revolutionary as far its integration of play, electronics and quality is concerned. The slot design allows for varied offensive plays, and at the same time has equal defensive opportunities so virtually any play can be stopped by a quick and alert player. There is ample room for play making, and still plenty of strong opportunities for checking. The balance is very real! The rod size is about perfect for fingertip control and puck handling. Speaking of pucks, the roller puck is fabulous! Recreating a glide ratio similar to a puck on ice, the fluid play that results is without a doubt the greatest differentiation point between this game and the other high quality big board games. Add to the fluid movement, the unique ramp behind the net, and what you have is a game that never stops! It's total, exhilarating, head to head engagement! This game is a perfect game for all skill levels. Beginners can have great fun right away against opponents of equal experience. Our observations show that the intial frustration level with rod hockey in general is greatly reduced because the Bodycheck puck is alive! Representing Bodycheck in the eastern US fulfills a lifetime dream for myself and my son Gabe. This a durable, arcade style game with a complete electronics package. It eliminates any need for referees, and unlike any other game out there, it delivers a fair face off every time! Count us among the converted! |
